These were yesterday's shows held in New York's Fashion Week Fall 2011. As usual, I selected my favorite shows and looks.
Hope you like them!
Christian Siriano showed a lot of sheer skirts/blouses, being it one of the biggest trends of the year. The collection was very much about black and grey, with some green and pink variations.
Having the 90s as an inspiration, she offered very comfy/chic looks with a mix of different textures and a lot of bold colors.
The layering and street wear feel were Nicholas K forte.
Rachel Comey offered catchy prints and different textures, making it a very boho-chic collection.
Grey/Black/Neutrals were the colors of this Richard Chai Love collection, being MAXI the word to describe it. Maxi skirts, maxi coats, maxi sweaters, maxi maxi maxi...
The 60's and 70s were clearly an inspiration for Steven Alan's collection.
"It's the other side of grunge, the elegant early nineties" was said by the designers backstage. The designers had fun playing with length, cutting off tops and making unusual neck lines.
