Pre-Fall 2012 - December 8

Helmut Lang
The king of drape showed why he's in the business and how he still manages to reinvent his famous draping techniques.

Rag&Bone
This was a very fun collection from Rag&Bone with neutral tones mixed with vibrant touches of color.

Thakoon
Lovely is the word I would use to describe this collection. Though probably not the usual lovely, Thakoon had unusual shapes and mixtures of fabrics but they were all very girly and very preppy look, making it the perfect pick for most girly girls.

THAKOON ADDITION
On the other hand, Thakoon Addition showed a different said of the designer with a more vintage approach and laid back look.

ZAC POSEN
A seductive, self-assured, sensual, elegant woman has definitely been on Zac's mind... beautiful.

Pre-Fall 2012 - December 7

Burberry
A lovely back to basics (or should I say classics) collection from Burberry, not as urban and conteporary as Christopher Bailey as been delivering but just as beautiful.

Donna Karan
Talking about back to classics, this is straight back to the  old Hollywood Glamour, Grace Kelly spelled all over.

Fendi
A sophisticated and elegant collection, definitely made to an independent city woman.

Ports 1961
Clean and and simple silhouettes done in amazing graphic fabrics.

Theyken's Theory
The laid back style of I don't care what I wear but I always look great and cool, Theyken's has managed to become the new sweetheart of all the "It Girls". Combined with the creativity on the show itself always capturing the public eye, I too want "him" in my closet.

Pre-Fall 2012 - December 6

Chanel
Wow. Chanel went to India and came out exquisite as always. The show itself was amazing, the models walked through a giant banquet, don't know if the guests had a great look of the clothes though.. if not they should definitely check them online, because they were that good!

Jenni Kayne
Jenni Kayne is growing on me season by season. Offering simple but stylish clothes, that every girl would dream of owning.

Reed Krakoff
Ultra modern made in nude tones, perfect for a city girl.

Zero + Maria Cornejo
Zero+Maria Cornejo is another brand that I'm loving to get to know. The designer Maria, just seems to have perfect timing and a beautiful understanding of what the industry wants.

Pre-Fall 2012 - December 5

Carolina Herrera
Carolina Herrera can be at times a little too classy and close the range to an older customer. In this collection I didn't feel that at all, of course, classic pieces but they were really easy to wear, I'm 22 and would die for some of them... so yay CH!

 Oscar de la Renta
Mr. de la Renta has the ability of turning everything classic, I always love his collections and this was no exception.. The clothes were amazing and the jewelry was also stunning!

Pre-Fall 2012 - November 29

DKNY

An extremely girly collection, a lot of neutral looks with bursts of color through out the collection. The first part of the collection is extremely put together followed by a relaxed pre fall look, with outfits that reminded me of those days when you get out of the beach and the sun has already set.

Anna Wintour

I've been looking up at Anna Wintour's work for quite a few years now, aspiring to one day mark the fashion industry just like she did, brilliantly if I must say.
So since today is her birthday, I decided to dedicate this post to her persona.
Born a british, ironically she became the editor-in-chief of American Vogue in 1988, a position she mantains to this day. Known for her bob haircut and sunglasses, she's become one of the most, if not the most, influential people in the Fashion World.
with her daughter, Bee Shaffer
with Patrick Demarchelier
wasn't even sure if she owned a pair of jeans...
with Mr. Lagerfeld.
with her partner in crime, Grace Coddington.

A Monochromatic Mix of Patterns kind of Pajamaresc

Ola!

Midterms are finally over, so I'll have a "lighter" weekend this time. Just a quick post to share what I'm wearing today. It's kind of monochromatic mix of patterns, pajamaresc like. I know what I wrote probably makes no sense at all in your heads, but it kind of does in mind... so deal with it!

Hope you like it!

Tom Binns

OMG is the best "expression" I kind find right now and I'm not a O.M.G. kind of girl, but this asks for it!
I just came across to this magnificent jewelry company, Tom Binns. Usually jewelry is not on the top of my list, but this jewelry is exactly everything I dream of. They're statement pieces but so fun and hip and at the same time they manage to be quite classic.
So I just had to share this with you, it will blow your mind!

G.
