Hello!!!!
I have a loooot of news for you guys, yeeeih :) Two look posts to come, some new things in my closet, but first.... I'll start with the MET Gala, which I did not attend but I went there anyways.
I got off work and instead of going home decided to pass through the museum and snap some pictures. I did get some pictures of people entering the Gala and after having dinner I went back because I thought the pictures were not that good (since I had to stand across the street, because no one was allowed to cross over...)
I got back and all the crazyness of cars and people and papparazzi was still the same, so what I realized was that most of the people leaving the Gala were not waiting for their cars, instead they were just qaalking down along the MET to the after party or to meet the driver a couple a blocks bellow. And no one realized this due to all the craziness (well no one but me!)
So I went a couple of blocks down and I was just waiting for a taxi and Gwyneth Paltrow passes by me followed by Beyonce and Jay-Z, then Matthew something (from Glee), Aerin Lauder, Marc Jacobs, Paul McCartney, Alexa Chung, Emma Roberts, Brocklyn Decker, Caroline Trentine, Isablei Fontana, Caleb Followill and Lily Aldridge, Mario Testino, Hamish Bowles, Sofia Vergara, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and so on and so forth.... BUT (and this is a huge but!) I couldn't take any photos because, ironie of the ironies my camara baterie went dead....
Here are some of the acceptable pictures I was able to take, hope you like them!
Rachael Roy in her own design and Harry Winston jewellery.
Salma Hayek wearing Alexander McQueen.
Karen Elson in Alexander McQueen.
Alexa Chung wearing Christopher Kane.
Franca Sozzani.
Liu Wen and Constance Jablonski both in Alexander McQueen.
Karlina Kurkova in Gaultier Paris.
Hilary Rhoda wearing Alexander McQueen gown, clutch and shoes; and Fenton jewellery.
Isabeli Fontana wearing Escada.
Naomi Watts wearing Stella McCartney.
Jimmy Fallon.
Eva Mendes wearing Stella McCartney and Fred Leighton and Van Cleef jewellary.
Rene Zelleweger in Carolina Herrera and Neil Lane jewellery.
Madonna wearing Stella McCartney and Cartier jewellery.
Bar Rafaeli in Reem Acra, Jessica Schorz in Topshop Unique and Forevermark jewels; and Ginniger Goodwin also in Topshop Unique, Van Cleef and Arpels jewellery, Kotur clutch and Aperlai shoes.
Solange Knowles wearing Dries Van Noten.
Carolina Herrera in her own design.
Chisty Teigen wearing Chris March and Ruthie Davis shoes.
Rihanna in Stella McCartney and Wilfredo Rosado jewels.
Love,
G.

Cool captures! I am dying to see this exhibit. Looks like I'll make it in July before "Savage Beauty" packs up.
Very jealous you were able to capture all these amazing dresses in person! I love the trains blowing in the wind of the first two pics!
