Bill Blass
Bill Blass offered in the last day of NY FW Fall 2011 a very classic collection. Dresses with beautiful simple cut-offs around the waist. A specially beautiful lace dress and chic/classic pieces that will always look good throught the years/trends.
Calvin Klein
Looking at this collection no one would have to tell us it was CK, because his simple/clean lines that we are so familiar with, were no expection for this collection. I especially loved the shoes, like the clothes very simple, but like it is said simple is more.
L'Wren Scott
L'Wren offered for next fall a collection in a beautiful color pallet. I have to say I was always "against" mixing orange and pink but in the last months I'm starting to move pass that idea, liking very much the look from above. Beautiful cocktail dresses and a stunning sequin blue gown.
Isaac Mizrahi
Isaac knows how to entertain his audiance. This was a very interesting, fun show. It had "waiter" guys ib between girls with cakes that had the prints of the clothes and the girls had the same hairdo as the dogs.
Naeem Khan
Naeem Khan is without a doubt my favorite gown (party dresses whatever you want to call it) designer. I have no words to describe this collection I couldn't even decide my favorite look, I loved to death everything on this catwalk. Once again... PERFECT.
Ralph Lauren
Ralph Lauren always has the most beautiful, glam, classic looks we can ask for. This collection was no expection to that. Having an oriental inspiration, the look exuded glam, the detailings were beautiful and velvet was once again one of the main fabrics.

NEW YORK - 16th February 2011
Michael Kors
Michael showed with this collection why he's brand has already been around for 30 years and ensuring that at least 30 more will come. A neutral color pallet with pops of red, this collection had a lot of emerging trends and trends that have arrived last year and are her to stay. Jumpsuits, sparkling fabrics, 70's references, coloured furs, simplicity and one coloured looks. All of this made once again Michael Kor's collecton one of the best of the whole week.
Oscar de la Renta
Now Mr. de la Renta definately knows what elegance is about. The detailing in the garmits were a pure delight and the variety of fabrics he worked with this collection is unbelievable, making sure the velvet comeback was present. I especially am dying over here for the multi-coloured beeded dress...
Proenza Schouler
These designers are not playing, know for their cool clothes this collection stepped up a notch and is as classic as cool, if that is even possible. The prints on the fabrics were stunning, there was one dress that made me go insane (the 3rd look in this collage) awh how perfect is it?! And once again a big velvet statement.
3.1 Phillip Lim
Minimalist, beautiful color pallet+fabrics, new silhouettes... perfection? wouldn't go that far, but pretty close.
Reed Krakoff
Reed offered for fall a neutral color pallet with a lot of layering and shiny fabrics.
Milly
Milly had for this collecton a clear inspiration of the 70's era. The color pallet was astonishing vibrant as it was dark. You may have noticed already that I'm kind of crazy about the 70's and the vintage feel, so... I loved it!
Christian Cota
Now this was a revelation to me, I didn't know this desinger and I gotta say I was very much impressed. A lot of strong stand out pieces, all very minimalistic but with gorgeous details.
Yigal Azrourel
This was another surprise to me.. the menswear is definately here to stay and I don't mind at all! Also this collection had a retro and minimalistic feeling at the same time, which to me is pure perfection. Loved the whole collection, it has to be in my top 10 collections so far.

NEW YORK - 15th February 2011
Halston
Halston offered for next fall a very minimalistic collection with cut-offs present throught the show in a very basic color pallet.
Hervé Leger
Hervé Leger offered once again dresses that would delight every single girl in the world. I have to say I really liked the looks with cigarette pants and contructive tops and the gowns were also exquisite. The material and the forms reminded me of building constructions and I mean this in the most positive way, refreshing.
Juan Carlos Obando
Juan Carlos Obando offered for next fall a lot of chic evening wear. The shapes were very simple and basic and details were in the necklines. Beautiful ruffles and drapped necklines.
Karen Walker
Karen Walker had for next fall a lot of sporty pieces, in a color pallet that I especially loved.
MARC by Marc Jacobs
Now MARC by Marc Jacobs may very will be my favorite collection so far. I could own every single piece that strouting through that runway. The 70's were a obvious inspiration for this collection. Having menswear as a reference, Marc offered a beautiful knit suit, a velvet suit, a shorts suit, shirts with bows, big hats/sunglasses, high heels with soquetes.... pure perfection.
Rachel Roy
I also enjoyed very much Rachel Roy's collection. This was much more sporty/day wear clothes than we usually see from Rachel, but just as beautiful. Loved the bold prints and all the layering.
Rodarte
Rodarte was actually considered by Anna Wintour as the most possible candidate to achieve greatness like a John Galliano and an Alexander McQueen, which is probably one of the biggest compliments they can get.
This was one of the most anticipated shows and they didn't let anybody down (well, at least not me). A beautiful magic show with a beautiful neutral color pallet, cigarrete pants, gorgeous gowns and jumpsuits with a lot of geometric items to it. The long lengh coats were just superb.
Tibi
Tibi was a surprise to me, in a very positive note. I loved pretty much everything in this show, it was so girly and dreamy and I guess we haven't seen much of that in the Fashion Week. Loved all the ruffle necks, especillu on the orange sumpsuit that you can see above.
TRIAS
Trias offered a lot of strong basics for next fall, the silhouettes were very clean and simpe yet very chic.
Vera Wang
Parkas and Chiffon were pretty much this collection. Maybe written like this it may seem very boring, but if you look at the pictures you would beg to differ. Beautiful gown and jumpsuits made in chiffon with a lot of tranparencies in the mix, and the parkas were mixed with fur bringing chicness to them.

Marc Jacobs
The "dot" collection. Marc once again was right on the track, spotting every trend, making a special emphaze on dots. Pencil skirts above the knee were also present throught the show. Fabrics with a lot of detailing, botties and botton shirts.
Alice+Olivia
Alice+Olivia presented a collection for fall with, my favorite item at the moment, wide pants, sparkling fabrics and a retro feel to it.
Carlos Miele
For next fall's collection Carlos had a lot oflong lengths with draping and accentuaded waist. A nice detail were the duchesse hoods.
Carolina Herrera
A collection for a classic woman was once again offered by Carolina Herrera for next fall. A lot of fur detailing in a neutral pallet. Great warm coats and some sparkling dazling gowns.
Donna Karan
A beautiful flowy collection in a grey-neutral pallet, amazing coats and drapping details. Also, with one of obvious trends throught this NY fashion week, the hoods in a very simple flowy fabric.
Chris Benz
This collection had a bohemian fell to it, there were some great pieces that I really liked like the one's I posted above. Great hats and little details.
Sachin+Babi
A simple yet chic collection with a very simple color pallet and a very easy to wear collection.
The Row
I've always loved their style but that doens't always translate in to good designing ideas. But certainly the Olsen twins did translate their style into the runway pretty well. Some really good strong pieces, a lot of fur in and fur in ways not common and especially in unusual proportions. This collection was very hand in hand with menswear and vintage.
Theyskens' Theory
Wide pants, short hot pants paired with blaizers, plaid oversized shirts and transparencies were all visible trends in Theory's show.
TSE
A collection made in a basic color pallet, some beautiful simple pieces in this show.
Zero+Maria Cornejo
Assymmetries made in earthy and dark colors, leather and some beautiful detailings, like the fringe bracelets and the hairy necklaces.
